UKNishikigoi have now returned from our spring buying trip to Japan.
UKNishikigoi are very happy to announce the purchase of ALL Shintaro’s tosai which he had for sale.
This was a fantastic deal for us. A breeder can only grow so many Koi, only a certain amount of mudponds are available to him and the line between the Koi he will grow and the Koi he must sell is very fine. Some of these Koi are unbelievable examples. There are some VERY special Koi which will be available to everyone. There are 2000 pieces and not a bad Koi among them. Some of the best Sanke, Showa and Kohaku tosai I have ever seen.
We have also bought some of Shintaro’s Nisai to grow on and one incredible Sansai. Cant wait to get them harvested.

We have 3 amazing Koi going into Toshio Sakai’s #1 Mud pond. This October is going to be an amazing trip.
Along with the Shintaro tosai and the Matsunosuke tosai, UKNishikigoi will have the biggest selection of Koi for sale anywhere in Europe.
We have had a fantastic trip to Niigata and of course to Toshio Sakai at Isawa Nishikigoi centre.
We have bough ALOT of fish, mainly tosai but some very special fish. A massive thanks to all the breeders we bought from, they were very understanding of the exchange rate and helped us out a great deal.

The new Koi will be arriving very soon and will be placed in our new Quarantine facility to settle in and go through our protocol. Along with the usual tests we also send off Koi to Cefas for full testing, not just blood samples. The Koi and our Bio Security measure’s are second to none.
A great day was had. Not only did we buy many fantastic Koi, the weather was also good.

Another good day in the mountains. Many things got done today so was good.
Headed up to Yozaimon mainly to see a Showa we sold last November, she has grown a little bit more and will stay out here for 1 more season. Beautiful Kindai Showa. Also saw an excellent large Goshiki there, great example.

What a day to be up in the mountains. The weather was really good and the mountains were nice and quiet.
We started off at Yagenji who had already sold out of fish. Only a few left. Headed to Shintaro to look at his Tosai and larger fish, some awesome Koi. Quality fish. Then we called in to Yamazaki and had drinks and then picked Koi, some superb Nisai Doitsu Purachina which are stunning. Also some smaller Purachina and Harewake. Then onto Marusei where we selected some very high class Chagoi and Shusui! Wait till you see them back at the shop. There is going to be an unbeatable selection of Koi and also the largest selection of Koi anywhere in the UK.

As usual a superb day with Toshio Sakai at Isawa Nishikigoi Center. The Koi were just fantastic.
As you will see by some of the pictures, the quality of these fish are on par with the best in the world. We have bought some excellent tosai…over 3000 of them! Along with some top Nisai we will have a selection like no other. Was great to see how well some of the Koi we purchased last November for clients have turned out so well. Growing even over the winter.
