Kevin has just upgraded his pond from a pump fed system into a bottom drain system. Which really needed doing. He has gained 300 gallons with some extra height and now runs really well. He has thinned his Koi out over the winter and has started to collect some really nice fish.
The upgrade only took 4 days and Kev did the work alone, it isn’t a major job these days to change current pump fed ponds over to bottom drain/gravity systems.
“I like to drop my nexus easy twice so I can add some more fresh water to the pond. The fish are coming along really good now. Over the moon with them, I have only been keeping Koi for just over 12months!”
